  4. I think it is probably those white puffy clouds casting their traveling shadows into the Canyon that give the Canyon it’s many varied personalities. I kind of like those long dark moody Canyon pouts………

  10. Those gorgeous clouds make for such a beautiful shot. Have you tried a polarizing filter when shooting sky and/or water? Also good for reflections through glass…

  11. I love the photos and the way you cropped them. Never tire of the Big Canyon… just the people. But I’m a people too, so that make me part of the problem, I guess. :) )

  13. You just can’t beat those white fluffy clouds in an Arizona sky. Have a great weekend.

  14. Beautiful set of pictures! We’ve gone to the Grand Canyon twice – during winter. So, I love seeing more foliage in these pictures. Those clouds in the middle set just make them postcard-worthy.

  15. Wonderful! It’s like an invasion. There is nothing like watching the clouds build and then fall. I love this time of year. I ran away today and am up in the mountains on Mt. Lemmon. I need to shutdown for several days. It has been a stressful week. We’ve had some bad things happen here on the garden property, summer school is taking it’s toll, and I need to get things done but I don’t have time to do it all. Too much. Right now I’m in my friend’s cabin listening to birds at sunset. Cool air and finally getting a chance to read and write. Thank you for sharing your day:)

  16. Beautiful photos of a changing day over a magical area. Diane
